KPI Target Patterns

KPI target patterns define the pattern of values for a KPI, such as a seven day pattern for different sales targets that repeat every week. For example, you can configure a set of targets that are effective for fiscal quarter by configuring KPI target patterns with appropriate effective date ranges.

You configure and modify KPI target patterns in Plan Setup > KPI Target Pattern:

Several KPI target patterns for Store 1.

Note: You can also import KPI target patterns through the KPI Target Import interface. For more information, see the interface specification document.

In each row, Dayforce shows an organizational unit and zone pairing, and shows the days in the pattern in columns. The values in each cell define the target for the corresponding organizational unit and zone pair for a day in the pattern. For example, the following row defines the targets for the Grocery zone in Store 17:

Targets for the Grocery zone.

You can define targets for all of the zones in the selected organizational units by providing values in the All row at the top of the grid, or for a specific zone in all of the selected organizational units by providing values in the All - Zone rows. For example, entering 5000 in the All - Grocery row defines a target of 5,000 for the grocery zones in all of the selected organizational units.

When you save your changes, Dayforce can show these KPI targets in Plan, similar to other KPIs, depending on the target’s associated KPI and its configuration.
