This background job aggregates KPIs by sections of the day (that is, day parts) when importing KPI data. After mapping KPI data to day parts, administrators can run the KPI Day Part Aggregation background job to aggregate these KPIs by their day parts.
For example, the Sales KPI contains data about sales throughout the day. Administrators can use this task along with the configuration of the KPI settings in Schedule Setup > Day Part to separate the KPI by the day parts of Breakfast Sales, Lunch Sales, and Dinner Sales, without having to separate it manually before importing it. See Configure Day Fragments.
