Work assignments are a combination of the job assignment and the org unit where an employee works. They are used in various areas of Dayforce such as scheduling and payroll.
After you configure jobs and job assignments, you can use work assignments to assign job assignments to employees. You can add a work assignment to an employee's profile through the following methods:
- A form (such as the New Hire form)
- Directly in the Work > Work Assignments screen of People
- By importing
