Adds the Integrations feature to the navigation panel.

Integrations Subfeatures

Integrations: Adds the Integrations feature to the navigation panel.

  • Data Export Setup: Assign this feature to provide users access to the data export setup feature for setting up benefits, certain payroll exports, and DF Link tracking.
    • Benefits Data Export: Assign this feature to enable the Benefits Data Export subfeature, where you can define the configuration of carrier exports.
    • DF Link File Tracker: Enables the DF Link File Tracker screen, where you can view the status of DF Link transmissions.
    • Payroll Data Export: For Implementation Consultants and Support users. Assign this feature to enable the Payroll Data Export subfeature, for setting up data exports to be used with certain third-party vendors.
  • Export Definitions: Enables Integrations > Export Definitions. Users with access to this feature and one or more of its subfeatures can configure data export definitions, which define how Dayforce generates XML data export files that are used in integrations between Dayforce and other software.
    • Export Definitions: Enables the Export Definitions tab of Integrations > Export Definitions. Users with access can configure data export definitions, which determine how Dayforce generates data export files.
    • Export Options: Enables the Export Options tab of System Admin > Export Definitions. Users with access can define how Dayforce sends data export files.
  • Import Definitions: Enables Integrations > Import Definitions. Data import definitions are used to integrate Dayforce with other software. Users with access can configure Dayforce to support XSLT transform on import files before they are processed by specific import jobs. One XSLT definition can be optionally defined for each import job; configured XSLT templates are applied to the imported files before they are imported to Dayforce.
  • Integration Studio: Adds the Integration Studio subfeature to the Integrations feature. Users can create and edit integration configurations. Integration configurations contain templates, specific to each customer’s specific integration requirements, to configure mappings for imports and exports in one location in Dayforce rather than in several different feature areas.
