This job checks to see if the employee self review or manager review step of the review cycle started on the day that the job was run. You can schedule this background job to run daily. This job has no settings.
For example, self review and manager review both start on October 1, 2015. The task runs at 9:00 AM on October 1, and triggers a separate notification to the manager and employee.
The job sends a separate message each time it’s run, which is why it’s usually only scheduled to run once a day. It doesn’t send messages for review steps that started on previous days.
