In addition to using the Benefits UK Pension Ongoing Import background job to import UK pension information for ongoing employee records, you can import the records in Pension Auto-Enrolment > Administration. You can use the import function to import records using a CSV file. When you import a file using the Import button, Dayforce checks the CSV file and validates the following columns in the file:
- EmployeeXrefCode
- NotificationType
- Opt-In=1
- Opt-Out=2
- Cease Membership=3
- Other Qualified Scheme=4
- NA=99
- NotificationDate
- Date format=yyyy-mm-dd
- PlanXrefCode
If the file is valid, Dayforce imports the records. You can use the View Tasks button to view the status of the import. If the import job fails, the error is displayed in the Job Logs tab of System Admin > Background Jobs.
To import records:
- Go to Pension Auto-Enrolment > Administration.
- Click Import. The Pension Auto-Enrolment Ongoing Records Import wizard opens.
- In the Select Files tab of the wizard, click Select Files and choose the CSV file on your computer.
- Click Next.
- Dayforce validates the records before processing the import. If any errors or warnings are displayed, edit the file and click Change to choose the CSV file.
- When a valid file is uploaded, click Next.
- Click Finish to begin importing the records.
- Click View Tasks in the toolstrip to check the status of the import.
