Holiday Rule with Job Rate Changes

The Holiday Rule with Job Rate Changes allows administrators to assign a different rate based on the job rate when creating a holiday premium. For example, if an employee works on a statutory holiday, they’re paid statutory holiday pay (that is, not for the worked hours but the actual holiday pay itself) based on the job rate of the job they work on the holiday.

The Holiday Rule with Job Rate Changes is similar to the Holiday Rule in that it pays a premium on the holiday. However, the way the rule determines the hourly rate that is used to pay the holiday premium is different. The hourly rate used to pay the holiday premium is the highest of: the primary job rate or the rates of any jobs worked on the holiday itself.
