Generate a CPF Submission File

In the CPF Filing subtab, you can generate a file to submit your employer monthly contributions to the Central Provident Fund (CPF) Board. The submission file is available as a DTL file (CPF PAL format) and a TXT file (CPF Line format).

The CPF Filing subtab is shown in the Payroll > Post Commit Management screen if you have access to the Singapore pay groups.

Role feature access: Payroll > Post Commit Management > CPF Filing

To generate a CPF submission file:

  1. Go to Payroll > Post Commit Management, and click the CPF Filing subtab.
  2. If you can also access pay groups from more than one country, select Singapore in the Country field on the right side of the screen to open the subtab.
  3. Select the CPF submission number (CSN) that is used to make the CPF contribution. The options shown in the CSN/VCSN drop-down list are obtained from the CSNs and VCSNs set up in the Singapore legal entities and pay groups.
  4. Make the following additional choices to refine your results list:
    • Select one or more pay groups associated with the CPF submission number.
    • Select the tax year and tax month that you're interested in. You can select more than one tax month at a time.
    • Select FWL Include to add Foreign Worker Levy (FWL) information in the submission files.
  5. Click Apply to show a list of CPF submission numbers based on your selections.
  6. Select one or more row items for which you want to generate submission files.
  7. Click Generate to create the submission files. When a submission file is generated, you can see a link to the file in the Download column. Click the link to download the submission file onto your computer.
  8. For pay groups with employees who belong to more than one legal entity, Dayforce generates separate files for each legal entity for that pay group. Each legal entity's files are shown in its own row in the CPF Filing subtab. You can identify the legal entity by their CPF Submission Number (CSN) and VCSN (Voluntary CPF Submission Number) that's included in the file names.
