Funding Singapore Payroll

Funding for Singapore payroll is set up in Dayforce by your implementation consultant, and might need to be managed as funding sources change. Currently, any bank account set up in Dayforce to fund payroll only supports employee direct deposits.

After the setup is completed, every time a pay run is committed, you need to generate a bank payment file that contains the encoded payment details for each employee. This file is submitted to the bank to pay your employees.

Before You Begin: Create a bank account for the Singapore legal entity in Payroll Setup > Bank Accounts. See Create Customer Bank Accounts.

Funding Singapore payroll involves the following steps:

  1. Identify the bank account you want to use for payroll by linking the bank account you've created to the Singapore legal entity. See Configure the Funding Bank Account for Singapore Payroll.
  2. Generate the bank payment files to release funds. See Generate Bank Files for Singapore Payroll Disbursements. Complete this step each time you commit a pay run.
