Employees can select from two tiers of health plan options, regular and premium options, each of which map to different employee deduction payroll codes; the plan options all map to the same employer earning code. To meet these requirements, two payroll mappings are configured.
In the example below, the regular plan options map to the “Health Insurance USA” employee deduction payroll code, and the “Employer Paid Medical Insurance” employer cost earning payroll memo code:
