Employee Personal Information

Controls create, read, update, and delete access to:

  • The fields in the General section of the Personal > Contact Information screen of People, except for SSN/SIN fields.
  • The Estate section in the Personal > Confidential Information screen of People.
  • The fields in the Name section of the Personal > Contact Information screen of People. When none of the checkboxes of the Employee Personal Information access authorization are selected for a role, some fields are hidden while some are shown as read-only, as follows:

    • Birth Name
    • Preferred Last Name
    • Common Name
    • First Name
    • Last Name
    • Last Name Prefix
    • Middle Name
    • Name Affix
    • Professional Title
    • Suffix
  • Note: This access authorization doesn’t affect the Reference Code field.
  • Records in the Marital Status section of the Name and Marital Status form.
  • The ability to view and update the Key Information tab of the Employment > Employment Settings screen of People. The Can Read checkbox must be selected for the tab to be shown and the Can Update checkbox must be selected to edit the fields in the tab.
  • Note: Access to this tab is also controlled by the Employee Key Information access authorization.

This access authorization is also applied to the related fields in Reporting and Analytics > Reporting and Analytics Home. Users with access to Reporting can view the data in the personal information fields if they have Can Read access. For users who don't have this access authorization, data from the related fields is masked with asterisks in report previews and output.
