In Schedule Setup > Schedule Rule Policy, you can edit a schedule rule policy’s rulesets, rules, and qualifiers using several tools in the Rule Set Configuration section.
You can quickly identify the type of items configured in the list based on its icon.

To copy an item, select it and then click the copy icon (
). In the list, select where you want to copy the item to and then click the paste icon (
). Dayforce copies the list item and renames it with copy added to note that the item was copied. For example, if you copy a ruleset named “Eastern Branch,” the duplicate ruleset is named “Eastern Branch copy.”
To delete an item from the list but copy it to the clipboard to paste it elsewhere, select the item and then click the cut icon (
). Dayforce removes the item from the list, and the paste icon () becomes available. You can then paste the item in the appropriate section. To delete an item from the list outright, select it and then click the delete icon (
).
Note: When editing, deleting, and moving items in the Rule Set Configuration list, pay attention to the nesting of your rulesets. For example, if you delete a ruleset, you also delete the nested rules and qualifiers associated with the ruleset.
To move an item in the list, select it and click the up or down arrow icons.
