When you select the Earnings checkbox in the Features tab in System Admin > Roles, Earnings is added to the navigation panel. The Earnings role feature and its subfeatures provide employees direct access to their earning statements and payroll forms in the employee self-service feature of Dayforce.
Earnings Subfeatures
Compensation: Shows the Compensation tab in Earnings for the user role. In the tab, the user role can load and print a year-to-date summary statement of their total compensation.
Earning Statements: Shows the Earning Statements tab in Earnings for the user role. In the tab, the user role can view and print their earning statements. In addition, you could show the information in one or more views:
- Explanation: Provides a detailed description of each item line in the earning statement.
- Statement: Groups the information in current and YTD columns.
- Summary: Presents earnings and deductions in a pie chart.
Note: If you used Dayforce in English (UK), "earning statement" becomes "payslip" in the interface.
End of Employment Statements: Shows the End of Employment Statements tab in Earnings for the user role. In the tab, the user role can view and print their end of employment forms. This tab is only shown for native payroll countries that use end of employment forms.
P45: Shows the P45 tab in Earnings for the user role. In the tab, the user role can view and print their P45 forms. The P45 tab is only shown for UK employees.
Record of Employment Statements: Shows the Record of Employment Statements tab in Earnings for the user role. In the tab, the user role can view and print their Record of Employment (ROE) forms. The Record of Employment Statements tab is only shown for Canadian employees.
State Wage Allocation: Shows the State Wage Allocation tab in Earnings for the user role. In the tab, the user role can view and print their State Wage Allocation statements. The State Wage Allocation tab is only shown for US employees.
Total Rewards: Enables access to the Total Rewards tab in Earnings where employees can view their total compensation package.
Year End Forms: Shows the Year End Forms tab in Earnings for the user role. In the tab, the user role can view and print their year-end tax forms.
