Docket Information

Employees can record their time against preconfigured dockets or work orders set up in Dayforce. Dockets track logged time against some quantity of work produced.

Before You Begin: Docket functionality is enabled in your time entry policy. See Time Capture Settings.

This authorization controls whether users can view, add, and update docket information in the following timesheets features: Timesheets, Employee Timesheet, Manager Timesheet, Time Review, Period Review, and Work > Timesheet.

  • When all of the checkboxes are cleared, users can’t access docket information in timesheet features. Users can’t view the dockets on recorded shifts and the Docket and Qty columns aren’t available in the Pay panel.
  • Select Can Create, Can Update, or Can Delete and users can record, update or delete docket information for shifts and pay adjustments, and view the Docket and Qty columns in the Pay panel.
  • Select Can Read and users can view the docket controls and Docket and Qty columns in timesheet features, with read-only access.
  • Select Can Create, Can Read, Can Update, and Can Delete and users can use the Docket filter option in the Filter panel in Timesheets.
