The Display Tip Rate Rule calculates employees’ weekly tip rate. This rule uses the pay codes and pay categories configured in the selected Tip Processing Rule to calculate an employee’s tip rate for the week. The rate is calculated using the following formula:
((wages per hour × hours worked) + tips earned) / hours worked

| Pay code to assign | The pay code that the tip rate is assigned to. |
| Pay category to assign | The pay category that the tip rate is assigned to. |
