Important: Dayforce contains several restricted fields that are only accessible if you are logged in using a service role. Typically restricted to Dayforce support and services personnel, a service role must be configured through the application's database in order to modify all of the fields listed in the steps of this section. The Print Location drop-down list is restricted.
Delivery packages are physical packages of paperwork printed and mailed by Dayforce Back Office to specific addresses and contacts in your organization. Delivery packages can include physical checks, tax forms, direct deposit pay stubs, and printed earning statements to be distributed to employees, as well as printed payroll reports, direct deposit pay stubs, physical checks, or tax forms to be distributed to employees. Note that a number of reports are automatically generated by Dayforce on payroll commit. Which reports depends on the country of the pay group that you're committing payroll for.
Dayforce needs at least one default delivery package for each country that payroll will be run for. If you don't set up any pay group specific delivery packages, Dayforce uses the default delivery package for all pay groups in their corresponding country. If you have multiple pay groups with different locations, it is recommended that you configure delivery packages for those different pay groups.
