You can delete all of an employee’s job step rates. For example, you could use this functionality to implement a requirement that if an employee is terminated and then rehired after two years, their previous job step rate history shouldn’t apply.
Role feature access: Application Container > People > Employee Profile > Work > Job Step Rates
To delete an employee’s job step rate history:
- Go to People, open the employee profile, and click Work > Job Step Rates. Dayforce shows the employee’s current job step rate.
- If there are multiple job step rates, click the rate you want to delete. After it’s highlighted, click Purge Rate History.
