Delete an Employee’s Job Step Rate History

You can delete all of an employee’s job step rates. For example, you could use this functionality to implement a requirement that if an employee is terminated and then rehired after two years, their previous job step rate history shouldn’t apply.

Role feature access: Application Container > People > Employee Profile > Work > Job Step Rates

To delete an employee’s job step rate history:

  1. Go to People, open the employee profile, and click Work > Job Step Rates. Dayforce shows the employee’s current job step rate.
  2. If there are multiple job step rates, click the rate you want to delete. After it’s highlighted, click Purge Rate History.
