You can only delete plans or options if no employees are enrolled in them. Also, you can't delete an option if it's being used in an option dependency qualifier (that is, the option is assigned to an eligibility). You can, however, delete a plan even if you have already run eligibility for that plan. When you delete a plan, Dayforce deletes all its associated options.
To delete a plan or option:
- Go to Benefits Setup > Plans and Options.
- In the left sidebar, select the plan or option that you want to delete. You can only select one plan or option to delete at a time.
- Click Delete.
- In the dialog box that opens, click Delete.
- Click Save.
Note: When you delete a plan or option, Dayforce deletes any decision support configurations for that plan or option in Benefits Setup > Benefits Decision Support and the associated information from any enrollments using it. Decision support information applies to medical plans (health plans with the word "medical" in the subtype name) offered only in the United States. See Benefits Decision Support.
