Deactivate Assessments

In Assessments Setup, you can delete drafts of assessments at any time, but you can’t delete assessments that have already been published. After an assessment is published, your only option is to deactivate it.

When you deactivate an assessment, it stops new assessments from being sent out when learners complete the associated learning activity. However, all assessments that were already assigned stay active and assessors are still required to complete them for the affected employees.

Deactivated assessments are still shown in the All assessments list for your reference, with the status set to Inactive.

Important: Deactivating an assessment is permanent and can’t be reversed.

To deactivate an assessment:

  1. Go to Assessments Setup.
  2. In the All assessments list, find the assessment that you want to deactivate.
  3. Click the menu icon in the Actions column, and then click Deactivate.
  4. Click Deactivate again to confirm that you want to deactivate the assessment permanently.
