The Dayforce Touch Clock is designed for employees to clock in and out and review their work details on a user-friendly touch screen interface. The clock can also be configured for self-service functionality, similar to what is available in the mobile app.

Dayforce Touch Self Service Subfeatures

Dayforce Touch Self Service: Enables access to self-service features on the Dayforce Touch Clock.

  • Earnings: The Earnings feature allows users to view a mobile version of their earning statements, which are displayed in the main application in the Earning Statements tab of the Earnings feature. Users can review their earnings, deductions, taxes, and net wages, itemized for a specified pay period.
  • Employee: Employees can access several features through the clock, which allow them to view and update their available hours, review their schedule, and make time away from work requests. Assign this feature to enable the Employee Self-Service functionality, as well as any of the appropriate subfeatures below.
    • Availability: Assigns the Availability feature, which allows users to view their weekly availability on the calendar.
      • Copy Availability From Previous Week: Allows users to copy their availability from the previous week.
      • Edit Default Availability: Allows users to edit their default availability through the calendar.
      • Edit Weekly Availability: Allows users to edit their weekly availability through the calendar.
    • Calendar: Assigns the Calendar feature, which enables users to view their scheduled shifts and other information, such as holidays, on the calendar.
      • Shift Trades: Assigns the Shift Trade feature, which enables users to offer and swap shifts, as well as view shift trade history.
    • Reset PIN: Assigns the Reset PIN feature, which users can tap to reset their PIN and create a new one.
    • Time Away: Assigns the Time Away feature, which enables users to create and view time away from work requests.
  • Manager: Managers, supervisors, or other users with access can access several features, which allow them to review and edit employee information, and approve and deny time away from work requests. Assign this feature to enable the Manager Self-Service functionality on the clock, as well as any of the appropriate subfeatures below.
    • Employees: Assigns the Employees feature of the mobile app, which enables users to view information about their employees, including contact information, upcoming shifts, and recently worked shifts.
      • Reset Password: Enables the Reset Password button in the Employees feature, allowing assigned users the ability to reset the loaded employee’s password.
      • Show Employee TAFW Balances: Enables the Balances button in the Employees feature, allowing assigned users the ability to view the loaded employee’s balances.
    • Time Off List: Assigns the Time Off List feature, which enables users to view, edit, approve, deny and comment on time away from work requests for their locations.
  • Messages: The Messages feature allows users to access a version of their messaging center on the clock, which mirrors the functionality of messaging in the main application. Users with messaging assigned can access their Inbox to read messages sent to them by other users, or review any system alerts that they have received.
  • Using the other folders in the mobile messaging center, users can review Drafts, Sent messages, and Deleted messages.
  • My Profile: The My Profile features allows users to view their employee information such as their hire date.
    • Reset Password: Assigns the Change Password button in the My Profile feature, which users can tap to reset their password.
