Date Comparison Information

Using the settings, you can define employees' eligibility based on the amount of time between two dates. For example, the following image represents a qualifier that makes employees eligible if their hire date is before July 1 each year:

Date comparison fields for configuring employee qualifier
Field	Description
Date Compare Start	To configure eligibility based on a comparison of two dates, select the first date included in the comparison. The options are: Hire Date Most Recent Hire Date Relative Date Seniority Date Specific Date Termination Date
Date Compare Start As Of (Relative)	When you select the Relative Date in the Date Compare Start drop-down list, Dayforce shows the Date Compare Start As Of (Relative) field. Select the month and day in the drop-down lists.
Specific Start Date	When you select the Specific Date option in the Date Compare Start drop-down list, Dayforce shows the Specific Start Date field. Enter or select a date.
Compare Choices	The compare operation performed in the Date Compare Start and Date Compare End fields. The options are: Equal Greater or equal Greater than Ignore Less than Less than or equal Within range
Date Range Begin	When you select the Within range option in the Compare Choices drop-down list, Dayforce shows the Date Range Begin and Date Range End fields. The options are: Hire Date Most Recent Hire Date Relative Date Seniority Date Specific Date Termination Date If you select the Relative Date or Specific Date option in this drop-down list, Dayforce shows fields to set those dates.
Date Range End	When you select the Within range option in the Compare Choices drop-down list, Dayforce shows the Date Range Begin and Date Range End fields. The options are: Hire Date Most Recent Hire Date Relative Date Seniority Date Specific Date Termination Date If you select the Relative Date or Specific Date option in this drop-down list, Dayforce shows fields to set those dates.
Date Compare End	The second date used for the comparison in the drop-down list. The options are: Hire Date Most Recent Hire Date Relative Date Service Date Specific Date Termination Date If you select the Relative Date or Specific Date option in this drop-down list, Dayforce shows fields to set those dates.
