You can customize the appearance and navigation of the employee profile menus in the sidebar of People. To do so, click Configure at the bottom of the sidebar. This opens the Configure Profile Menu dialog box:
You can customize whether you access the menus in the sidebar on the left side (vertical), or as a toolbar across the top (horizontal). Further, you can select a grouped layout or a flat layout.
Reorder Menus in the Flat Layout
If you use the flat layout, you can adjust the order of the menu items in the Reorder Menu Items section of the Configure Profile Menu dialog box by dragging and dropping the menu items to a new location in the list:
For example, you might want to move the screens you use most often to the top of the list. Use the search field to help you find the screens you want to move.
After you save your changes, Dayforce applies the custom ordering each time that you log in. You can reopen the dialog box at any point and click Reset to Default to clear your changes and restore the alphabetical ordering.
