In Skills Setup > Skill Levels, you can customize the labels for skill proficiency levels based on your organization’s needs. These labels are shown to users throughout Dayforce when they add skills. For example, they’re shown to employees when they add skills to their career profile and to administrators who are adding skills to job assignments.

The following table shows the default labels used for proficiency levels in Dayforce.

To change the default labels for skill proficiency levels:
- Go to Skills Setup > Skill Levels.
- Enter custom names for one or more of the skill levels.
- Click Save.
