Conversation Setup

In Performance Setup > Conversation Setup, you can create a set of categories that can be assigned to conversations in Performance. These categories can be customized to cover a wide variety of topics based on the needs of your organization. The defined categories are displayed in the Category drop-down list when you post conversations in Performance, and can be used to filter the conversations.

Default Conversation Categories

Performance Setup > Conversation Setup contains the following default conversation categories:

  • Appreciation: Acknowledge key performance, competencies, or other actions.
  • Career Development: Discuss career progress and opportunities for growth.
  • Other: Discuss general topics.
  • Performance Feedback: Assess performance on goals, competencies or other aspects of work.
  • Questions: Obtain information about goals, competencies or other aspects of work.

If these default categories don't meet your organization’s needs, you can delete or modify them, or create new categories.
