Configure the Weeks Ahead Value

For certain features and subfeatures that allow users to load future data, you can load schedules for future weeks. Optionally, you can restrict the number of weeks into the future that users can load, based on user role. For example, you can configure Dayforce so that managers can load schedules up to eight weeks in the future, and regional managers can load schedules up to 26 weeks in the future. This functionality exists for Plan and Schedules. You can configure the weeks ahead value using the Number of weeks ahead field:

To configure the Number of weeks ahead value: 

  1. Go to System Admin > Roles and select a role.
  2. In the Features tab, go to Plan or Schedules.
  3. Click the parameters configuration icon ( ).
  4. In the Number of weeks ahead field, enter the maximum number of weeks into the future that users can load data.
  5. Note: By default, the Number of weeks ahead field is set to 26, which restricts all users to loading 26 weeks into the future in Plan or Schedules.
  6. Click OK.
