Before You Begin: See Unauthorization Rule.
After entering the policy's basic details, you can add the Unauthorization Rule to identify and unauthorize shifts based on a set of defined settings.
To configure the Unauthorization Rule:
- Go to Pay Setup > Pay Policy.
- Select a period authorization policy. A slide-out panel opens.
- In the Rules Configuration section, click the add icon (
) and then click Rule.
- Enter a name and, optionally, a description for the rule.
- Enter the rule's effective dates.
- In the Type drop-down list, click Unauthorization Rule and configure the rule's settings.
- Click Save.
