The TAFW Base Unit Duration Recalc background job recalculates time away durations for future and past periods that you can customize. You can configure the job’s scope to limit the types of time away periods that Dayforce recalculates. For example, you can configure the job to include only TAFW balances that are configured with a specific base unit type when Dayforce runs the job.
If you configure daily and weekly TAFW balances, it’s recommended that you schedule this job to run daily.
Important: To run this background job, users require access to the Time Away From Work > TAFW Base Unit Duration Recalc role feature in System Admin > Roles in the Features tab.
