Configure the Data Export with Filter Options

You can apply filtering to the payroll data export configuration to exclude one or more legal entities or pay groups, or if you have multiple pay groups that should be grouped together and sent at a scheduled day and time.

Before You Begin: Be sure that you are familiar with the concepts described in Payroll Contributions: Filter Options Tab.

To configure filter options for the data export:

  1. Complete the steps in the task Configure a Basic Payroll Data Export Configuration.
  2. Click the Filter Options tab.
  3. In the Exclusion Options section, in the Excluded Legal Entities drop-down list, select the legal entities to exclude.
  4. In the Employee Filter section, set up your filtering as needed by completing these steps:
    1. In the Active Payroll Election in the Following Earnings selection list, select the elections you want to filter, select And or Or, and then in the YTD Accumulation in the Following Earnings selection list, select the accumulations you want to filter.
    2. Select And or Or to add the next filter parameters.
    3. In the Active Payroll Election in the Following Deductions selection list, select the deductions you want to filter, select And or Or, and then in the YTD Accumulation in the Following Deductions selection list, select the accumulations you want to filter.
  5. Click Save.
