Dayforce’s minimum or maximum staffing requirements can be based off of skills, such as first-aid training, French or Spanish language fluency, that are configured and assigned to employees. The skills configured can represent the characteristics employees must possess to satisfy the requirement.
For example, to configure a minimum staffing requirement dictating that at least five employees with first-aid training must be scheduled when a location is open, configure a skill that represents knowing first-aid and assign it to the employees with the training.
Skills are configured in Learning Setup > Skills and assigned to employees from the Skills tab in the Learning screen of the People feature.
