It’s recommended that you configure your pay policy with the following pay rule and qualifier to support daily and weekly TAFW balances:
Average Payment Rule
The Average Payment Rule compares different rates to determine how Dayforce pays weekly TAFW pay adjustments. You can set up the rule to compare rates such as vacation rates, base rates, average overtime rates, and rates from balances when determining an employee’s highest rate.
Employee Field Change Qualifier
You can configure the Employee Field Change Qualifier to trigger a pay rule to run after an employee updates specific fields in their employee profile, which might require a recalculation of their TAFW balances. For example, you can configure the qualifier to trigger the associated pay rule when an employee’s pay class or work contract hours change.
