Configure School Year Calendars in Schedule Setup > School Year

To configure a school year calendar:

1. Go to Schedule Setup > School Year and click Add.
2. Enter a name and, optionally, a description of the school year calendar.
3. In the Organization field, select the organizations that the school year calendar applies to.
4. In the State / Province drop-down list, select the state or province that the school is in.
5. (Optional) In the Reference Code field, enter a cross-reference code. This code must be unique and must not contain special characters.
6. In the Calendar section, use the Select/Deselect Day of Week buttons to configure the calendar’s school days. By default, Dayforce starts the school year in January and marks Saturdays and Sundays as non-school days. Dayforce shows school days in white, and non-school days in blue.
7. Click Save.
