Configure KPI Target Patterns

To configure KPI target patterns: 

  1. Go to Plan Setup > KPI Target Pattern.
  2. In the Load panel, configure the following settings:
    1. In the Organization field, select which organizational units the pattern applies to.
    2. In the Zones drop-down list, select which zones the pattern applies to. KPI target patterns can be applied to specific zones in the locations selected in the Organization field. For example, to define a KPI target pattern for just the Media, Computers, and Home Theater zones of the stores in the 100 District, select the appropriate zones in the Zone field.
    3. Define an effective date range in the Start Date and End Date fields.
    4. In the Pattern Length (Days) drop-down list, select the number of days in the pattern.
    5. In the KPI drop-down list, select the KPI that the targets apply to. For example, to set a sales target pattern, select ‘Sales’ in the drop-down list. 
    6. Note: The selected KPI must be configured in Plan Setup > KPI Metadata with Kpi Target selected in the Source drop-down list. The selected KPI’s configuration also defines which columns in Plan KPI targets are displayed in. See KPIs and KPI Metadata.
  3. Click Load. Dayforce shows any KPI target patterns already defined for the selected organizational units and zones.
  4. Define the KPI targets by entering values in the appropriate rows in the table.
  5. Click Save.
