To configure a KPI metadata set:
- Go to Plan Setup > KPI Metadata.
- Click Add.
- Enter a name and, optionally, a description for the metadata set.
- In the Organization field, select the locations that the metadata applies to.
- Select the Corporate checkbox if the metadata set applies to an above-store location, such as a group of stores that form a district or region. A corporate configuration defines data for multiple stores, which generally track fewer, broader KPIs than individual locations. Clear the Corporate checkbox to assign the metadata set to an individual location.
- Enter a date in the Effective From field and, optionally, in the Effective To field.
- In the Plan drop-down list, select the plan that the metadata set applies to. Plans are already configured in Dayforce, and the drop-down list contains all of the plans available to you.
- Select the Is Classic Forecast checkbox to use the forecasting engine to determine forecasted data for the metadata set. See Set Up the Forecasting Engine.
- (Optional) Enter a cross-reference code In the Reference Code field. This code must be unique and must not contain special characters.
- Click Save.
