Configure Disclaimers

Disclaimers are messages that Dayforce shows when you first log in. Dayforce prompts you to accept the message before you can finish logging in.

To configure disclaimers:

  1. Go to System Admin > Disclaimer and click Add.
  2. Enter information in the Disclaimer Name, Disclaimer, Effective From, and Effective To fields.
  3. To choose your organization, click Add in the grid below and then click the Organization field. The organization hierarchy window opens, where you select and add your organization.
  4. Select the Display to Everyone checkbox.
  5. Note: Selecting this checkbox shows the disclaimer to everyone in the associated organization, regardless of whether the Show Disclaimer checkbox in System Admin > User is selected for a given user.
  6. (Optional) To localize the disclaimer message in the language of your choice:
    1. Select your disclaimer and then click Localize.
    2. In the Localize Disclaimer dialog box, click Add.
    3. In the Language drop-down list, select your desired language.
    4. Enter a name and, optionally, a description.
    5. Click Save.
  7. Click Save.

When you log in, Dayforce shows your disclaimer:

When you click Next, Dayforce shows the Home page. If you click Cancel, Dayforce takes you back to the login page.
