Configure Customized Notifications for Shift Bidding

In System AdminWFM Notification, you can configure customized notifications that Dayforce sends out for employees who participate in shift bidding sessions. See WFM Notifications.

Role feature access: System AdminSystem AdminWFM Notification

This subfeature contains a Default notification record with predefined notifications, but you can also create your own notification records to include customized notifications.

Before You Begin: Each shift bidding notification record should contain at least one instance of each notification type. That is, you should configure each notification record to inform employees about available shifts and whether bids were awarded or rejected.

To add a WFM notification record for shift bidding:

  1. Go to System AdminWFM Notification and click Add.
  2. Enter a name for the notification record.
  3. (Optional) Enter a description and reference code.
  4. In the Notification Type drop-down list, select Shift Marketplace Template.
  5. In the Messages section, click Add. Dayforce adds an expanded notification record, showing the Notification Message tab.
  6. In the Event drop-down list, select a notification: Shift Available, Shift Awarded, or Shift Rejected.
  7. In the Subject field, enter the text that appears in the notification’s subject line.
  8. In the Notification Message tab, configure the notification’s text. You can select tokens in the drop-down list and click Insert to add them to the text field.
  9. Click Save.
