Configure Customer Pickup for Delivery Packages

You can also configure Dayforce to use Customer Pickup as a delivery option for printed payroll outputs including regular payroll checks, direct deposit advice, or payroll reports as well as periodic or year end tax and PPACA filings. Using this option, your printed payroll output will still be generated by Dayforce Print but you can pick it up at your designated Dayforce back office print center.

To configure the Customer Pickup option:

  1. Go to Payroll Setup > Report Output.
  2. Click the Delivery Packages tab.
  3. Add or select a delivery package.
  4. Click the Delivery Details section, in the Courier drop-down list, select Customer Pickup.
  5. Click Save, then click Refresh.

This feature is also available in Pay Setup > Pay Group in the Delivery Packages tab.

If you want to override the existing delivery package configuration for your pay group, select the Override Instruction Settings checkbox, then select Customer Pickup in the Courier drop-down list.

When you select Customer Pickup as your courier option, the application clears and disables the Account # and Courier Service Option fields.

View package tracking information in Payroll > Overview, Payroll > Pay Run Management, and Year End.
