In System Admin > Client Properties, you can configure settings that control how Dayforce loads dates in Attendance Management. Additionally, you can configure Dayforce to reset incident point totals after employees are rehired or given a new attendance policy assignment. These settings are located in the Properties tab, in the Time and Attendance section:
- Attendance Management Default Period Range (Months): Controls the date range that is populated, by default, in the Period of fields in the Load panel of Attendance Management. This client property is set to “3,” by default, so that the Period of fields contain a default range of three months prior to the current date when you open the panel.
- Attendance Management Period Limit (Months): Controls the maximum number of months in the past that users can load in Attendance Management. This client property is set to “18,” by default. When users attempts to load a date that’s outside of the period limit in the Period of fields in the Load panel, the date is crossed out and can’t be loaded.
- Important: Increasing the default values in these fields might cause performance issues in Attendance Management.
- Restart Attendance Points on: Controls whether Dayforce resets an employee’s number of accrued attendance incident points after rehiring or attendance policy assignment changes. By default, this setting is disabled. Select one or both options in the selection list to enable this functionality. The options are: Attendance Policy Change and Rehire.
For more information on these client properties, see Time and Attendance.
