Many sick policies require an annual benefit year recurrence, typically from January 1 to December 31.
To create an annual recurrence that runs every year on January 1:
- Go to Pay Setup > Entitlements and click the Recurrences tab.
- Click Add.
- Enter a name and, optionally, a description of the recurrence.
- Do the following:
- In the Frequency Type drop-down list, click Yearly.
- In the Frequency Value field, enter 1.
- In the Start Date Type drop-down list, click Start of Year.
- Click Save.
Note: To configure a recurrence that applies to a fixed date other than January 1, leave the Start Date Type field blank and enter a date in the Start Date field. The date you specify represents the earliest date that an award should be made available to the balance.
