No Email Recorded Message
If the following applies to the user:
- The user hasn’t recorded an email address.
- Note: For an email to be valid, it must have the Personal Email or Business Email option selected in the Type drop-down list.
- An email address is recorded, but the Alerts checkbox is cleared (that is, a verification email message wasn’t yet sent to the user).
- The email address has expired. This only occurs if the user defined the optional Effective End parameter for the email address.
Then they will receive the following message each time they log in to Dayforce:
If the Enable Password Reset (requires email verification) property in the Security section of the Properties tab in System Admin > Client Properties isn’t enabled for your organization, the message omits mention of the password reset feature:
Moreover, in all cases, this new message is only displayed to users when the following conditions are met:
- The Enable Email Verification property in the Security section of the Properties tab in System Admin > Client Properties is selected.
- The user's role is assigned all permissions of the Employee Contact Information access authorization in the Authorizations tab of System Admin > Roles.
- The user hasn’t yet selected the Don’t show this again checkbox from the warning message, depicted above.
Each time users log in to Dayforce, a message is displayed if they didn't respond to an email verification request or if their email address was marked as rejected:

If a manager sends out an email verification request to a user who doesn't have the ability to add an email themselves, this user will still see the above message when they log in.
