Benefits Intelligence Data Preprocessing

Before You Begin: This job helps to generate data for the Benefits Intelligence feature which is only applicable for organizations offering benefits in the United States.

This Benefits Intelligence Data Preprocessing background job makes preprocessed enrollment and rate eligibility data available to the Benefits Intelligence feature. The job assesses employee elections, plan configuration, and Benefits Decision Support configurations to generate two sets of data as follows:

  • Current enrollment statistics: Employee counts by plan option and by tier, and costs
  • Rate eligibility statistics: Employee counts, given eligibility, for rate values, by tier

If changes have been made in Benefits Setup > Plans and Options (such as changes to rates), or you’ve updated decision support configurations for a plan that’s included in a Benefits Intelligence plan group, you should run this job again. You must also run this job on or after you start a new plan year or Dayforce generates an error when you try to load plan groups for the current plan year

It’s recommended that you run this job outside of your normal business hours. As a best practice, it's also recommended that you schedule this job to run once a week. However, you can run the job manually or schedule it to run.

This job has no settings.

You can run the Benefits Intelligence Data Preprocessing background job by clicking the Benefits Intelligence Data Processing button in the Select Period and Plan Group dialog box in Benefits Intelligence and the toolstrip in the Benefits Setup > Benefits Decision Support.
