Benefits Administration

Enables theBenefits Administration feature where you can review cost, coverage, and payroll information about employees enrolled in benefits plans.

Benefits Administration Subfeatures

You must assign subfeature roles under Benefits Administration to gain access to any of the Benefits Administration tools.

COBRA (US only): Enables the COBRA tab, where you can view information for employees and their dependents who have undergone COBRA events; this information is included in the COBRA export. You can also make updates to COBRA events so that they can be included in the COBRA export.

Election Summary: Enables the Election Summary tab, where you can view complete summary counts of employees enrolled in each benefit plan option and the estimated associated costs, as of a specified time.

Elections: Enables the Elections tab, where you can view all current, historical, or future employee benefit elections, and you can export election records.

Employees: Enables the Employees tab, where you can run recalculation tasks to update rates, coverage amounts, and payroll elections which might be required because of updated employee data, eligibility, plans, or plan options.

Recalculation Results: Enables the Recalculation Results tab, where you can review, approve, unapprove, commit, or discard the results of recalculation jobs requiring manual approval and commit (or two-step recalculation transactions) for multiple employees.

To administer benefits for individual employees, you must enable the features found in the Benefits section of the Employee Profile role feature. See Application Container.
