The Balance Expiry From Youngest Dependent Date of Birth Rule restricts users from submitting a time away request for an extended maternity leave after a specified expiry date. In this case, the maternity leave is taken in two sets of leaves where the second set is treated as the extended maternity leave. The extended maternity leave can be taken in segments of varying length.
This rule is used to configure the expiry date by which an extended maternity leave can be taken. The expiry date is measured against the date of birth of the youngest dependent. For example, if the expiry period is set as one year and the user tries to request an extended maternity leave after one year, a validation error message is shown.
