In the Detailed View tab, Dayforce shows a detailed view of the selected balance transaction in the Output section. This section contains two subsections:
- Balance Period: Shows a summary of the balance period in which the transaction occurred, including the initial and current balance values.
- System Transactions: Shows how the balance was adjusted, including details such as the transaction date, the balance change, and the source.
When Dayforce opens the Detailed View tab, the entitlement rule that adjusted the employee’s balance is selected by default in the Entitlement Hierarchy sidebar, and the Output section shows what was changed in the System Transactions subsection:
If you selected a balance transaction that involved more than one entitlement rule processing, in the Entitlement Hierarchy sidebar, you can select a different rule that’s marked with the green checkmark icon () to view how that rule updated the balance. If you select a rule or qualifier that’s marked with the red X icon (
), the Output section contains a message indicating that the selected rule or qualifier didn’t run or affect the balance for the selected transaction.
