Background Job Error

The Background Job Error notification lets users know when background jobs generate errors or warnings.

The subject line of the notification includes the name of the relevant background job and the client namespace where the job originated. The message body lists information produced when the error occurred in the background job, for appropriate users to review.

Users can create rules (also known as filters) in their email application (for example, Microsoft Outlook) to sort alerts by their subject line. For example, users who don't want to know when the Test Job is completed can create a rule to automatically send messages with the subject line, "Companyxyz – Background Job Issues (HR Import)" to the Junk Email folder.
