The Australia Employer Super Rate Client Property Update background job updates the system calculation rate from 10.5% to 11% for superable earnings. Run this background job to ensure that any pending Super Choice or Employee commencement forms are processed with the super rate increase to 11%. This change is effective for any payrolls that are due to be committed with the pay date on or after 1 July 2023.
You can run this background job more than once or schedule it to run at set times.
Note: This mass update will only update active employees. You can confirm the changes by creating a report in Reporting and Analytics using the Employee Superannuation Contribution Funds query entity.
This job has the following settings:
NoOfDaysForward
Enter how many days forward to indicate the effective start date on which to run the update from today's date. For example, if today is 1 Jul 2023 and you indicate the No Of Day Forward = 3, the background job uses 1 Jul 2023 + 3 days = 4 Jul 2023 as an effective start date and will check if there is any SGC rate with an effective date earlier or equal to 4 Jul 2023.
The system has a default schedule to run at 11 pm every 30th June and 31st December and you can alter the default setting. The date and time values use are based on the Preferred Time Zone settings configured in Client Properties. For more information, see "Preferred Time Zone" in General.
