Assign Role Features for California Pay Data Reporting

The ability to generate the California pay data report is enabled for roles in the Features tab of System Admin > Roles with the following features under HR Admin > HR Admin > Compliance Reporting:

  • EEO: Enables HR Admin > Compliance Reporting > EEO.
    • California Pay Data Reporting: Enables the ability to configure California pay data reporting templates, within which you can generate the report. When this feature is assigned to a role, and you go to HR Admin > Compliance Reporting, the Add button includes a drop-down menu containing the EEO-1 and California Pay Data options. You can select the EEO-1 option to create a template for the federal EEO-1 report and the California Pay Data option to create a template for the California pay data report:
    • This feature also enables the California Pay Data Report - Establishment Major Activity details and California Pay Data Report - Row-Level Clarifying Remarks fields in the Compliance Properties tab of sites in the Organization tab of Org Setup > Organization. See Configure Establishment Details.
      • California Employee Data Report: Enables the California Employee Data Report option in the Export button menu in HR Admin > Compliance Reporting > EEO.
      • Important: Only certain roles should be assigned this feature; the file generated gives access to employee-level data. This is different from the actual California pay data report, which doesn't identify specific employees. See Generate the California Employee Data Report.
