The Archive Audit Tables Job background job moves audit records to an archive based on separate retention policies for each record type. This background job prevents the buildup of large amounts of data and optimizes Dayforce’s performance.
This background job only includes audit tables that you actively select. If you don’t select an option in the drop-down list for an audit table, Dayforce ignores that audit table when running this background job.
After audit records are archived, they’re no longer available in the Audits panel, in reports, or in any features that contain audit information. For example, if you select 1 Year in the Employee Time Entry Audit drop-down list, Dayforce will no longer show clock entry records that are older than one year in the Audits panel of Timesheets, the Employee Time Entry Report, or the Clock Entry Audits feature.
