The Apply Pennies from Heaven Rule is used to enroll employees in Pennies from Heaven. When you configure this rule in an employee's payroll policy, the application rounds their net pay down to the nearest pound. The deducted pence are listed in the employee's pay slip as a post-tax deduction.

If the employee's net pay equals an even pound, no deduction is applied for the pay period. The rule is applied on every pay period, unless a check template that excludes the deduction is added for the employee.
Important: The Apply Pennies from Heaven rule must be positioned after the Apply Taxes rule in the ruleset to ensure gross to net is calculated before the deduction is applied.
