To add and configure the settings for a pension plan:
- Go to Benefits Setup > Plans and Options.
- In the toolstrip, click Add > Add Plan to open the Add Plan dialog box.
- Select United Kingdom and Retirement.
- In the Plan Sub Type drop-down list, select a pension scheme type.
- Click Add. Dayforce opens the plan setup screen.
- In the General tab, configure the following settings:
- In the Name field, enter the display name of the plan.
- In the Reference Code field, enter a unique ID for the plan.
- In the Effective From field, enter or select the first date that the plan is available to employees.
- In the Plan Year Date Type drop-down list, select one of the following options:
- Fixed: The date includes a month, day, and year.
- Relative: The date only includes a month and a day.
- In the Plan Year Start Date field, enter or select the first day of the plan year.
- In the Plan Year End Date field, enter or select the last day of the plan year.
- In the Payroll Mapping tab, configure the following settings:
- Name
- Apply to Options
- Earning field under Employee Cost/Contribution
- Earning field under Employer Cost/Contribution
- Click Save.
