Add UK Pension Plans

To add and configure the settings for a pension plan:

  1. Go to Benefits Setup > Plans and Options.
  2. In the toolstrip, click Add > Add Plan to open the Add Plan dialog box.
  3. Select United Kingdom and Retirement.
  4. In the Plan Sub Type drop-down list, select a pension scheme type.
  5. Click Add. Dayforce opens the plan setup screen.
  6. In the General tab, configure the following settings:
    1. In the Name field, enter the display name of the plan.
    2. In the Reference Code field, enter a unique ID for the plan.
    3. In the Effective From field, enter or select the first date that the plan is available to employees.
    4. In the Plan Year Date Type drop-down list, select one of the following options:
      • Fixed: The date includes a month, day, and year.
      • Relative: The date only includes a month and a day.
    5. In the Plan Year Start Date field, enter or select the first day of the plan year.
    6. In the Plan Year End Date field, enter or select the last day of the plan year.
  7. In the Payroll Mapping tab, configure the following settings:
    • Name
    • Apply to Options
    • Earning field under Employee Cost/Contribution
    • Earning field under Employer Cost/Contribution
  8. Click Save.
