Depending on how Dayforce is configured, you might be able to select reasons (defined in Pay Setup > Balances, in the Reasons tab) that will be linked to the selected balance. See Configure Reasons.
To add a reason to a balance:
- Go to Pay Setup > Balances. Dayforce displays the Balances tab, by default.
- In the left side panel, select the balance that you want to add a reason to.
- Scroll down to the Reasons section.
- In the selection list, select the reasons that you want linked to the balance.
- Click Save.
